Moose Barrows Trophy Race:
Pros Mentor SSWSC Juniors
For the first time in decades, pro ski racing returned to Howelsen Hill as the SSWSC and the city of Steamboat Springs jointly hosted the World Pro Ski Tour. With support from Alpine Bank, SSWSC debuted a unique team event where the top eight pros, including 2-time Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety, mentored teams of SSWSC racers from 10 to 15 years old in a dual race alongside the pro course.
