It is important to the SSWSC that program fees do not prevent local youth from participating if they wish.  Scholarship funding plays a critical part in allowing any community member to join.  During the 2019/2020 fiscal year over $190,000 was awarded to 471 athletes through need-based scholarships. (There were fewer achievement based scholarships this year due to the shortened season and the cancellations of most championship events due to COVID-19.)​
